Valentine’s Day outfit guide

I am so excited that Valentine’s Day and Galentine’s Day are in just a few days! It’s already time to start making plans – dinner with your SO or celebrating the gals in your life with a brunch, or a movie night! Selecting cutest gifts for them, decorating with plenty of pink and red heart balloons, flowers, decor, and treats are ahead! Along with these follows the biggest question – What am I going to wear on these special days!? To save you from the #idonthaveanythingtowear meltdown, I’ve rounded up outfit inspiration for no matter what your plans are! Get ready for the rosy days ahead. XOXO🌷

Table-for-two kind of blouses

Combine pink, rose gold, blush, fuchsia, peach, metallic blouses with same or contrasting skirts. You can opt for a simple skirt for a work-day outfit, an A-line skirt for a fancy dinner. Go for this chic leopard print skirt for an ice cream date or a brunch with your gals on a warm/breezy day.

Lace top • Ombre skirt • Pearl jacket • Pearl Necklace • Evening purse

This outfit is so whimsical, romantic, and elegant – based on the weather, you can skip the jacket in the day and put it on for the evening.

Lace top • Pink skirt • Pearl Necklace • Evening pursePink flatsPearl bow

Go for a soft feminine look in a pleated skirt, matching soft pink flats to pull off this special day! What I love about a white lace top (similar) is that you can wear this with any skirt or jeans that you already own! Just add a pearly touch if you want to dress it up!

Cute tees

I love these super casual t-shirts! They all have cute Valentine’s day themed prints and embellishments and can be sported with mini-midi skirts. They are great for movie dates, a work-day or any casual plan!

Je Taime tee • Lips tee • Shoes tee

Whip up above listed tops with contrasting or plaid pants! By adding matching accessories, you can even sport them with your favorite jeans!

Shoes tee • Black pants • Red crossbody bag • Love earrings • Red pumps

The white tee can be styled with red – the other staple color for the occasion, and it already has red roses on it! Creating Valentine’s day vibe only using the accessories to your outfit is another great and a money-saving idea!

Cozy sweaters

The weather in February could still be cold, and you might prefer more layering in your outfits! Fret not, cutest sweaters on skirts with ankle boots or over-the-knee boots also make warm, cozy, romantic outfits! You can tie in cute cardigans or contrasting jewelry to add oomph to your sweaters!

Grey sweater • Black pants • Tassel earrings • Evening pursePink flats

I have picked a light grey sweater (the beige is also really pretty) and accessorized it with chunky tassel grey earrings, a whimsy pink evening purse, and pair of flats. You can totally don a similar color scarf if you need more layers!

Heart sweater • Black pants • Love earrings • Tassel earrings • Red purseRed heels

This cutest heart sweater is my favorite! Because this is a white sweater, you could possibly add any of Valentine’s day colored accessories, and you’ll be fantastic! I went with red and gold for this in – earrings, purse and heels, you can try hot pink, fuchsia, wine red colors with this sweater!

What’s great about this kinda pairing is that you can convert these from work-day pieces to special occasion pieces almost instantly!

Dressy dresses

Rock a classic red dress. Depending on your activity, pair it with heels or boots! A simple purse, minimalistic earrings, or thin choker necklaces couple well with these bold dresses!

Blush in pink! You can’t go wrong with this shade – and there is no denying how well it goes with rose gold! So bring out all your rose gold jewelry and watches for a refreshing, glam, on-trend look!

It’s not always butterflies, but… rainbows – always! While you could stay in the pink-red route, it’s certainly not your only option! If you decide to deviate from the color scheme and get creative with other colors and combinations, check out these finds in varied colors! 🌈

Yellow dress • Black floral dress • Blue flowy dress

You could incorporate pink and red tones into these pieces with the help of accessories listed below!

Accessories ideas that go with your outfits

Accessories can basically change the game for even the simplest outfits. So whatever outfit you choose from the above list, harmonize the look by keeping a common theme amongst all your accessories and your outfit.

To round off the above looks, I pulled in matching baby pink, blush, fuchsia accessories.

I hope you guys found the inspiration you were looking for 🙂 Comment on the look you have picked up on, and which outfit was your favorite – I would love to know! 💕
