DIY Tealight holder frame

Bring visual interest to your walls in your home with this beachy, modern, chic DIY tealight holder frame! I’ve had these aqua tealight holders for a while, and now I have turned them into ….little hanging vases! A convenient way for repurposing worn-out frames and old tea light holders. What can you do with it? These are super easy to hang, use it both as decor and storage.

~ Place fresh cut flowers, artificial succulents, water plants, or just some faux flowers.
~ For a rustic look, you could arrange dried flowers and leaves in them
~ You can even replace the artificial succulents with real succulent plants for an added touch
~ Place it on a bookshelf, window sill, nightstand, work desk
~ Get organized and fill them with your kitchen utensils, art supplies, study desk items, makeup brushes, toothbrushes, bath accessories!

To go with the current spring season, I am hanging some faux flowers and using it on a window sill in my living room, for the sun to shine through the beautiful vintage glass holder. For the summer, I am going to switch it up as a beach decor + storage piece in our guest bathroom! Who doesn’t loveee a reusable DIY item and an IKEA hack!

What you need:

8 x 10 Frame
Metal hooks
Tealight holders or small mason jars
Jute twine
Hot glue gun
White paint if you want to paint the hooks (optional)
Faux or real plants/faux or real flowers/art supplies

How to make it:

1) Measure frame and screw in the hooks

2) Feel free to stain/paint the wooden frame to a color you desire. Let your craft and creative skills speak for themselves!
3) Tie jute twine on one corner of the tea light holder, take it around the hook, and tie the knot on the other end. These holders are perfect for tying a string around for easy hanging.

4) Balance the knots equally on both sides of the holder and glue in or cut off any access twine on the sides.
5) Mount it to the wall with floral arrangements or place it on a study desk or a window with the help of a support
